Children
are important here at Community Nazarene.
Our goal is not just to lead them to Christ, but to help them learn
to love and apply the Scriptures to their lives, and lead them to a life of
service.
We have several ministries to help accomplish this goal.
We offer:
Bible Learning Adventure Stations The BLAST program is our Sunday morning program that teaches
biblical truths to the children through hands-on multi-sensory lessons using
Bible stories, cooking, videos, role-play, games, science experiments, and
music. Three sessions of each
quarter emphasize missions and how it relates to their lives.
Nursery - Babies and Toddlers are considered precious
additions to our church family. Our nursery attendants are conscientious
about providing a loving, nurturing, safe and healthy environment for your
child. Nursery care is available for Newborns - 2 years old during Sunday
School and all worship services.
Sunday School for all children is offered at 9:30 Sunday
mornings.
Children Worship Sunday morning while the adults are having a worship service geared
for them, the children are in a worship service custom made for them.
Each week they have a time to pray, sing, and hear a message much
like the adults. The message is
delivered in a variety of ways, all geared to them and their needs.
A time for in-depth study of a book of the Bible designed
and written for children in first – sixth grades.
Opportunities for individual and team competition at area quiz meets
give the children a fun and exciting way to test their Bible knowledge.
This is our Wednesday evening program that gives the
children an opportunity to fellowship and delve into God’s Word in new and
exciting ways.
